The Vision
African Energy Research (AER) was founded in 2025 to solve a critical challenge: Africa’s energy story is often told from a distance using fragmented data. We launched in Nigeria to build a space where local professionals can turn scattered information into structured, “decision-grade” knowledge for the entire continent.
